Just thought we'd clear that up...
Ardentes were born under the strict communist rule of 18th Century France. During the early years of their existance, they learnt their first trade. This was the seldom seen sport of North Korean Underwater Basket Weaving. The group excelled at this sport, and took the Basket Weaving world by storm. By the tender age of Thirteen however, the group decided to part ways. This was on the grounds of one member (who shall remain anonymous for privacy's sake) attempting to sabotage a major piece of Underwater Basket work which could have proven revolutionary.
After a long hiatus, the group decided to reform, under the premise that they would never again attempt any sort of weaved basket revolution (this was under government guidelines). The group decided to pursue the new music movement in 1876. They received government funding to forge the greatest type of music the French had ever seen. After years of training (and 20 million French Rubles), the group were ready for public performances. At this first concert however, the crowd present (including King Thomas XXXIV and his entourage) rioted. The group, devastated, decided to relocate to the sunny shores of England in 1994.
After many reformations, re-splits and adjustments, the band recorded their first EP in March of 2008. The title, "Shoot The Band", is representative of the screams and shouts of a later riot in the small town of Hayling Island, Hampshire (1904).
After 200 years of being an entity, Ardentes strive put on the best show you've ever seen (apart from MUSE maybe), so be a part of it. See when they're playing near you and make an appearance.
