Bear with us...

The Music Directory continues to change as we gear up for some big new features and content...

It's going to be great but we don't want to overload you, so things are being rolled out slowly. Some things on the site are moving ahead faster than others at the moment, so if something doesn't look quite right, rest assured that we are working on it!

Gig listings launched
promote your gigs to thousands nationally

Our brand new gig listings system is now fully operational and ready for your gigs.

To add your gigs to the gig listings just login and go to the gigs page. Click on 'add gig' and enter the relevant details. Simple.

Your gig will be listed in your Music Directory web page, through the gig guide section and through StudentSwapShop.com to tens of thousands of students across the country.

You'll even have the chance to feature in Freeq Magazine with your gigs. You can't beat a nice bit of free publicity.

Freeq or Uneeq?
New Music Magazine

We're really excited - why? Because next month sees the launch of Freeq Magazine in partnership with The Music Directory.

Freeq is 'the music magazine with a conscience' - supporting independent music as well as promoting and raising awareness of social and environmental issues.

The best thing is the price - it's free! Does that mean it will be rubbish? Er, no.

You will be able to pick up your copy from universities, colleges, music shops and bars in the Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield areas from 18th February. If you don't have the pleasure of living in one of those amazing cities then don't worry, you can get an electronic version - everyone's a winner then.

Go to FreeqMagazine.com to register for your free electronic version.
